Big Gigantic is an instrumental livetronica, hip-hop and jazz influenced duo based out of Boulder, Colorado. Their combination of electronic beats with live saxophone and live drums is an interesting twist on what you hear at a typical EDM show.

TSLN photographer Tanner Morris caught their set the other night at Skyway Theater in Minneapolis. This was a sold out show.

"I'm not a huge EDM listener anymore. I used to go to see DJ's like Excision and Datsik when they came to town. But it's been a while since I was at an EDM show on purpose. But these guys were awesome! Personally I think it was the introduction of live instruments in an EDM setting that did it for me. I'm aware they're not the first group to do this. But still, it kept my attention. The drummer was super tight. And i'm a sucker for saxophone. All in all I had a good time at this one. I couldn't shoot from the crowd though, every time I tried my camera lens would fog over and I couldn't even shoot." -Photographer Tanner Morris
