“No justice, no peace, prosecute the police!” was the message said loud and clear in the latest Black Lives Matter protest. Their loud voices were clear in their outrage of the latest death, of Freddie Grey, while in the hands of the Baltimore Police. Many people of all races, both young and old, joined the marchers.

The peaceful, orderly march on Monday April 29th, began at Gold Metal Park, in Downtown Minneapolis and continued across the Mississippi into Northeast. A casket lead the procession; to symbolize Freddie Grey’s death and the death of freedom. Police shut down streets and bridges to allow protesters free access. Marchers and speakers, including Brother Ali, came to listen, be heard and speak out about much Black Lives do Matter.

Brother Ali, uprising everyone with his unannounced appearance, sent strong, meaningful messages to all listeners at the end of the march. Followed by a performance at honey.
