Post-Rock is alive and well in the Minneapolis music scene.

Being no strangers to the scene, Sibir is ready to come out guns blazing. Consisting of old In Favor members and current members of Atrocities, Sibir is bringing post-rock back from the 80’s and 90’s into the modern day world. With influences such as This Will Destroy YouWe Lost The SeaLantlôs, and even Comrades, the three piece is sure to make you feel like you’re in a fantasy land drifting through a calming river.

Sibir consists of Tyler McMunn (Bass), Jordan Givens (Guitar), and Alexander Wells (Drums). As of this writing, the three will be recording with Remo Drive’s Erik Paulson today, the 27th of September. The group also just played their first show at The Garage with Insomniac, The Sooper Swag Project, Thong John Silver, Unturned and Nanashi.

Be on the look out for these groovy jams soon to be filling your ear-holes. In the mean time, you can follow up with the band on their social media accounts. These guys are a definite must for any music fan.
