La Femme, The French psych-punk rock band played a sold out show at St. Paul’s legendary Turf Club. Considering the quaintness of the Turf Club, I personally felt very privileged to see them perform at this small of a venue considering they routinely sell out stadiums in France. Amazing doesn’t even start to describe the Parisian’s bands performance and stage presence; The only thing that could possibly make it better was if the Turf Club had lighting that didn’t scream “Dive Bar.” However, I guess that’s more of a personal opinion that comes with the territory of being a photographer, and maybe just a small sacrifice to see a band of this stature in such an intimate space.
