On Saturday, September 27th Paradise Fears played at Mill City Nights with support from Hollywood Ending, William Beckett and Grayson Dewolfe.
Grayson Dewolfe started recording music at the age of 14. The Minneapolis artist released his EP Someday Before Yesterday soon after that in May of 2013. He and has been turning heads ever since.
William Beckett has been succeeding as a solo artist since his departure with The Academy Is in 2011. It didn’t take him long to find his roots again in his hometown of Chicago and take his career to a new level. By 2012 he had self-released three EP’s, Walk The Talk, Winds Will Change, and What Will Be. Also the Pioneer Sessions album (a collection of twelve acoustic versions of songs from each of the EPs).
Hollywood Ending is Tyler Wilson (Lead Vocals), Cameron Byrd (Lead Vocals/Guitar/Piano), Dan Geraghty (Vocals/Lead Guitar), and Chris Bourne (Vocals/Bass), all 18-21 years old. They met on Skype and came together to form the band. They were scattered across the US and even the UK.
Paradise Fears is a 5-piece, 10-instrument alternative rock outfit from South Dakota. They provide a sound that combines elements of pop, alternative and even spoken word. With that they maintain a genuine lyrical message. “We wanted to write songs that matter,” says lead singer Sam Miller. “Simple as that.”
