Rock the Garden, a two day concert festival hosted by 89.3 The Current, returned to the grounds of Walker Art Center in Minneapolis this past weekend. This huge event attracted over 8,000 people to soak up the heat from acts as big as Conor Oberst, Belle and Sebastian, and Modest Mouse.

Two legardary musican’s sons played Sunday. Sean Lennon, John Lennon’s son, is part of the group Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, while Seun Kuti, son of Nigerian afrobean innovator, and outspoken Nigerian government critic, Fela Kuti, lead his father’s former band, Egypt 80. Fela became lead signer of the band upon his father’s death in 1997.
